I-CHING Hexagram #8
"Holding Together "

K'an The Abyss, Water. K'un The Receptive, Land. Water in the surface of the earth flows into a place they find, for instance, into the ocean, where all the rivers run together. There is a man of a strong willingness in a ruling position, who serves as joining point. At the same time, he always looks for a complement with others, balancing his nature.

It shows the man, the way in which helpful and joyful attitudes keep people together. Based on reciprocal help, with strength up and self- denial down, everything will turn out well.

To get started

We are going through a moment in which the best thing is to join others around us. How do you decide that? Our own inner thoughts and feelings will tell us if we are able to make others join us or we can be part of an already set group. Both choices have the answer to our problems. Wasting time not joining, by negligence, is a mistake. We'll find the atmosphere that makes us happy associating with others.

To end

we are about entering in a stage that juncture is the best, where there is a combination of efforts for ideals that will strengthen the union. Solidarity and group work require hard work and honesty. It will also be necessary a leader who makes this endeavour come to good terms. If it is doubtful whether we are the head or not, it will be convenient to consult the oracle again about this. There will be success and good luck.

sentence

Holding together brings good fortune. - Inquire of the oracle once again - Whether you possess sublimity, constancy, and perseverance; - Then there is no blame. - Those who are uncertain gradually join. - Whoever come too late - Meets with misfortune.
