From a technical perspective, Lilith (The Dark Moon) is the apogee of the Moon, which essentially means that it is the furthest point from Earth in the Moon's orbit. Basically, Black Moon Lilith is not a celestial body. Instead, it is a point in the sky and is the deepest distance the Moon travels from Earth.
